A fresh web shop, voucher engine, warehouse system and queue-based ERP integration — one operational spine for online and wholesale.
Nuki's legacy shop couldn't keep up with European growth. Voucher campaigns lived in spreadsheets, warehouse ops relied on manual ERP exports, and every seasonal peak put order data at risk.
One operational spine: a new storefront with multi-region checkout, a gift-card and promo engine, an in-house WMS for pick, pack and returns, all wired to the ERP stack over a durable message queue with retries and replay.
Nuki — Austrian smart-lock pioneer, hundreds of thousands of homes across Europe secured and unlocked by their products.
Launch a new commerce experience and wire it into the operational backbone. The existing shop couldn’t keep up with international growth, the voucher campaigns were running on spreadsheets, and warehouse operations depended on manual exports to multiple ERP systems.
A fresh storefront with product configuration, multi-region checkout, subscription and bundle logic, and a headless content layer so marketing teams can publish without developer help.
A configurator lets customers tailor every lock — model, finish, cylinder type — before adding to cart, with real-time price updates and bundle discounts surfaced in-flow.
A gift-card and promo engine that issues, redeems, and reconciles vouchers across the site and retail partners. Campaign teams spin up a new code scheme in minutes; finance gets clean ledger entries the same day.
An in-house WMS sized to Nuki’s workflow — pick lists, packing stations, goods-in, returns, stock moves. Staff run it on handheld scanners; managers see live throughput from anywhere.
The shop, the voucher engine, and the WMS all talk to Nuki’s ERP stack over a durable message queue. Orders, stock levels, invoices, and returns flow in both directions with back-pressure, retries, and replay — so a flaky endpoint or a peak-sale spike never loses data, and each system stays cleanly decoupled.
One platform powering both online and wholesale business on a shared spine. Seasonal launches and holiday peaks are no longer an ops risk — queues absorb the burst, integrations catch up automatically, and the customer sees a fast checkout whether they’re buying a single door sensor or kitting out a full rental portfolio.
